Description
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) care is based in Hermiston, Oregon. This role involves providing direct patient care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical Floor setting, ensuring safety, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive health outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon, evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice, current Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN), prior Medical-Surgical nursing experience, CRASE training (additional training certificate).
- Additional Information: The RN will perform general nursing duties across various departments, support the hospital mission, and participate in educational programs relevant to the role. Floating to other departments where qualified may be required.
