Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a busy level III NICU. The role requires a dedicated professional to work night shifts, ensuring the safety and well-being of the most vulnerable patients.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE certifications in submission packet. No specific minimum experience required.
- Unit Specifics: 60 beds, patient ratios of 2-3:1, no technicians available in NICU, equipment includes Philips monitors, documentation systems are Meditech and Centricity Perinatal.
- Scheduling Requirements: Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays.
- Float Policy: Float to comparable areas of high need.
- Patient Experience Requirements: Previous NICU experience is required.
- Certifications: Nursing license, BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
- Start Date: 08/17/2026.
