Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in Glendale, Arizona. This position involves selecting and handling surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures. The role requires assisting in sterile environments, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring all instruments are properly prepared and accounted for to support efficient operating room operations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift hours, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent, current basic life support (BLS) certification, manual dexterity, and ability to respond quickly to the needs of the surgeon and patient. No prior years of experience required. Must be registered with the appropriate State Regulatory Agency if applicable.
• Additional Information: The position involves standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, stretching, and physical agility. It requires effective communication, good visual and auditory acuity, and the ability to handle objects with fine motor skills. Lifting up to 75 pounds may be necessary. Adherence to safety procedures regarding blood and bodily fluid exposure is mandatory.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
