Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU Neuro) specialty position in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves providing specialized neurological critical care in a busy ICU setting. Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 36 months of Registered Nurse (RN) experience, including at least one year in an ICU setting. Experience with Meditech documentation system is preferred. Must possess BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree, Advanced Certifications, and TNCC certification are advantageous.
• Responsibilities: Care for up to 1-3 ICU patients, including those on ventilators. Read telemetry strips proficiently. Manage procedures such as post-op CABG, Impella devices, balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz catheters, neuro procedures for aneurysmal hemorrhages, EVDs, bolts, and induced hypothermia. Provide respiratory treatments outside of the ICU, including inhalers and nebulizers. Conduct bedside shift reports on every patient at each transfer of care.
• Float Policy: Travelers are the primary to float; may be assigned to emergency department or Progressive Care Unit to support patient care.
