Job Summary
Step Down Unit Nurse specializing in cardiovascular care, available in the healthcare providers facility. This role involves caring for patients with advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and other related cardiac disorders, serving a diverse patient population from young adult to late adult.
Job Details
- Position Description: Seeking highly motivated nurses to assist on a Cardiac Step Down Unit caring for heart failure patients.
- Certifications and Education: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification, successful completion of a proctored rhythm test, and valid nursing license.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS, valid nursing license, and 0 years of experience.
- Additional Information: The unit has a capacity of 23 beds, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1. The staffing model includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and Nurse Interns, with RNs taking full responsibility for assigned patients. The start date is 08/30/2026, with a scheduled end date of 11/28/2026.
