Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located at a healthcare facility. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population including medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and stroke patients. The position starts on 09/21/2026 and ends on 12/19/2026, with orientation occurring every other Monday. The ideal candidate will have prior charge nursing experience, active VA or Compact license, and at least 2 years of relevant RN experience.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active VA or Compact RN license, 2 years of RN experience, charge nurse experience preferred, Cerner EMR experience preferred, experience with IMCU patient acuity levels, and valid work history with at least 2 years of experience.
• Travel Requirement: Yes, travel is required for this assignment.
• Float: Float rotation is not required.
• Additional Information: The RN will work with a mix of med-surg, telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and CVA patients. The unit operates on a staffing model that generally considers two or three weekends per month, with flexibility on weekend-only requests. RTO is limited, and client can cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to census fluctuations. Orientation occurs every other Monday unless otherwise posted. Prior travel experience is required for all Central positions, and charge responsibility training and pay differential will be provided.
