Job Summary:
This nursing position is based in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a healthcare organization located in Elko, Nevada. The role involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populations. The shift is scheduled for days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and requires a commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Location: Elko, Nevada
• Shift: Days; 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: 12 HR weekly guaranteed hours
• Required Qualifications: 2 years minimum experience; certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ART lines, central lines, ventilators, BIPAP, post-cardiac catheterization lab care, post-surgical care, moderate sedation, chest tube management, electrolyte management, and telemetry applications
• Unit Information:
  • Number of Beds: 7
  • Patient Ratios: 2:1 for higher acuity ICU level patients, 5:1 for medical-surgical overflow
  • Equipment: IV pumps, SCDs, telemetry, bedside monitoring, telemetry
  • EHR: Med Host
• Unit Profile: Adult/geriatrics patient population; candidates must be independent, self-motivated, focused, and able to manage their time effectively
• Additional Notes: The position is scheduled to start on 09/14/2026. Must be greater than 60 miles from the facility to be considered a travel candidate.
