Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) position is available in a healthcare setting, responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization, and regulatory requirements. The role requires precise handling of instruments to ensure patient safety and compliance with health and safety protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; 2-4 years of related experience preferred. Certification as a Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with case cart assembly, regulatory standards of materials management, and conducting tests and inspections to evaluate quality or performance.
• Additional Information: The position runs from 09/13/2026 to 12/12/2026, with the start date contingent on credentialing clearance. If credentialing is not completed by the posted start date, a rescheduled start date will be necessary. The candidate will process specialty and general instruments, reset instrument sets, decontaminate instruments, maintain stock levels, prepare surgical trays, and communicate repair needs as required.
