Job Summary
Fullerton, California Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician - This position involves working in a busy, high-volume acute care hospital setting. The role entails supporting surgical teams during various procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and sterile protocols, and providing excellent patient care. Candidates must be adaptable to different shifts and able to float between units as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of acute care surgical technician experience, certifications including BLS and CST, valid California state license (compact license accepted), and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: NBSTSA certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other surgical units or outpatient centers based on department needs.
• Additional Information: Must be open to working weekends and potentially working post-shift, night, weekend, and holiday call shifts as needed. The facility has 320 staffed beds and provides a variety of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, and robotics. Candidates are expected to demonstrate familiarity with advanced surgical procedures and equipment, including robotic surgical systems. All candidates must include responses to required screening questions, provide two references within the last three years, and be eligible to work in California.
