Job Details:

• Location: Sonora, California
• Position: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, beginning 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: High School Education or GED, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, 1 year of experience (or equivalent) in operating room or surgical settings
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates or technical degree, scrub technician experience, operating room training course, Surgery Technician certification, CPR certification
• Performs preparation of surgical cases by checking supplies and equipment, assembling sterile fields and instrumentation, and maintaining aseptic techniques
• Assists in collecting data and documentation during surgical procedures
• Ensures proper labeling of solutions and sterilization of equipment
• Transports patients and performs clerical duties as needed
• Completes instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts accurately according to standards
• Performs housekeeping and equipment maintenance responsibilities
• Ensures compliance with safety and organizational policies
