Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse (RN) specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) for a role located in Birmingham, Alabama. The position involves providing advanced cardiac nursing care within a high-volume lab setting. The RN will be responsible for assisting in cardiac procedures and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a specialized environment.

Job Details:

• Location: 2010 Brookwood Medical Center Drive, Suite 209, Birmingham, AL 35209
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift Hours: Days, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Schedule: 40 hours per week with a minimum of 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a cardiac catheterization or related specialty, located in Birmingham, AL or willing to commute to the area
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IABP, Impella device management, laser procedures, Shockwave therapy, Phillips imaging systems, merge hemo experience is highly desirable
• Additional Information: The candidate should possess excellent team collaboration skills, flexibility, initiative, and accountability. Professional attire and scrubs in Ceil Blue or Royal Blue are required, in compliance with CMS and occupational standards. The role involves working with cardiac patients, performing procedures, and maintaining patient safety during high-acuity interventions.
