Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position is available in Waco, Texas. This role involves providing direct patient care in a 30-bed Stroke and Uro unit, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols. The candidate will implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and coordinate discharge planning within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in Basic Life Support (BLS), active nursing license in Texas, and at least 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units. Location requirements include working within the state of Texas and in accordance with local licensing standards.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting and working on a stroke or uro unit is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will provide critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision while working in a stressful environment. The role requires assessing patient needs, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate patient discharge planning.
