Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position available in the Illinois area. This role involves providing care on a general medical observation unit, managing conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, infections, and urinary tract infections. The nurse must be comfortable with Bi-Pap and high-flow oxygen therapy. The position offers a 12-hour daytime schedule on a 36- or 48-hour contract basis.

Job Details:

• Location: 1000 HEALTH CENTER DRIVE, MATTOON, Illinois, 61938
• Schedule: 12-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 2 years experience in medical-surgical nursing; valid and verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Bi-Pap and high-flow oxygen therapy.
• Additional Information: The position requires working every other weekend. A cover sheet is required for application submission. No local candidates are accepted; verification of permanent address is necessary.
