Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse for a position in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves working within the post-anesthesia recovery area, providing essential care to patients recovering from anesthesia, and supporting patient stabilization and monitoring. The position offers a dynamic environment with a focus on critical patient care.

Job Details:

Schedule: Day shift with 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with flexibility to 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Every third weekend involves call or night call hours totaling 8 hours within a 6-week period.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing licensure, CPR and BLS certifications, a degree in nursing or equivalent, Ohio residency or work authorization, and at least 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications: PACU certification or previous experience in post-anesthesia care.
Additional Information: The role involves timely patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, managing post-operative complications, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe patient recovery. Flexibility in shift hours and weekends is required.
