Job Details

• Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
• Position: RN Med Surg (Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical)
• Shift: Day Shift, 06:15 AM to 06:45 PM
• Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
• Total Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Certifications/Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program, current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or completion within 3 months, Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience, previous traveler experience required
• Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, operation of infusion pumps, documentation in Cerner EHR, patient and family education, cardiac rhythm interpretation, infection control, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and assisting with patient movement. May involve exposure to blood, bodily fluids, chemicals, and communicable diseases.
• Additional: Must demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, sound judgment, adaptability, and compliance with facility policies.
