Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care by performing assessments, care planning, and patient education. The RN supervises direct care staff and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS Certification required prior to first shift, ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only), minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience, experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar setting, location in Kansas, at least 1 year of clinical experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records, Strong patient education skills, Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The RN will perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, participate in patient education and discharge planning, and document all patient interactions accurately. Responsibilities include supporting patient safety initiatives, initiating and modifying care plans, and providing supervision to ancillary nursing personnel. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality outcomes, with opportunities for professional growth through continuing education.
