Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in Montana. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role encompasses assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, providing health education and counseling, and executing supportive therapy and treatment to promote patient well-being. The PACU Nurse collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver restorative care and may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications. Flexibility to be on-call during scheduled shifts may be necessary.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit or service.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and relevant certification appropriate for the unit or service.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. The role involves documentation, patient referral, consultation, delegation, supervision, and health teaching and counseling.
