Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a 29-bed Short Term Acute Care facility that is a Level II Trauma Center. The nurse will float between units as needed and work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing telemetry monitoring and neurological assessments.

Job Details

• Schedule: Shift hours are 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes weekend shifts, with 6 weekend shifts required over a 6-week cycle.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas state license or compact license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, proficient in interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response and code teams, peripheral line care and management, oxygen administration and tanks, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions and PPE, telemetry monitoring, and neuro assessments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in community hospital settings, neurosurgical or neurovascular patient care, and epilepsy or stroke care.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to float and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work 3 of the 5 holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, or New Years Day. All modules related to orientation and training are to be completed prior to the start date.
