Description
Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse (RN) Englewood, Colorado. This behavioral health facility seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate and structured care on night shifts. The role involves working across all patient units with a focus on adolescent and adult mental health, ensuring safe and effective stabilization and treatment for patients with diverse behavioral health needs.
Job Details:
- Location: Englewood, Colorado
- Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 0 years of experience, Colorado state license, ability to work all units as needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in behavioral health, medical or dual diagnosis, ability to perform CIWA and COWS assessments
- Unit Information: 4 units with 20-26 patients each, total of 96 beds, adolescent (13-17 years), and adult (18+) patient populations; approximate patient ratios of 1:12 on adolescent, adult mental wellness, & adult acute units, and 1:10 on adult dual diagnosis/substance use disorder units
- Responsibilities: De-escalation, crisis management, patient stabilization, and adherence to hospital protocols in a fast-paced behavioral health environment
- Dress Code: Scrubs in navy color
- Additional Notes: The position is a replacement for permanent staff and involves occasional call or shift openings as needed
