Job Summary:
The Labor And Delivery (L&D) Nursing position is based in Brunswick, Maine. This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery department during night shifts, supporting the management of obstetric and neonatal units, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position is scheduled for night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week, with every third weekend off.

Job Details:

• Location: Brunswick, Maine
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), graduation from an accredited nursing program, ability to work in the United States, and 0+ years of experience in labor and delivery nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with labor and delivery, neonatal care, or related obstetric specialties
• Additional Information: This position is created to provide coverage for leave, with onboarding planned for two traveling nurses to bridge the gap until the local staff can begin. The schedule may have some holes due to current orientations and a medical leave of absence, but efforts are made to ensure continuous coverage.
