Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 0 years of experience; certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC; valid Texas licensure or equivalent; candidates must have at least 1 year of ER experience. Good prioritization and time management skills are essential.
• Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years of ER experience; Meditech electronic health record (EHR) system experience.
• Additional Information: The ER unit has 54 beds staffed by 125 team members. Typical patient ratios are 4:1. The unit operates with a team of day shift charge nurses, RNs, paramedics, and support staff. The work environment is patient-centered, with a focus on teamwork and clinical excellence. Scrub color is royal blue, and unit policies should be reviewed for compliance. Rotating weekends and on-call shifts are required.
