Job Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse in Hawaii. This role involves caring for adult patients in a 9-bed ICU with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1 unless 1:1 care is required. The position offers potential for overflow assignments to medical-surgical units, with a schedule of 12-hour day or night shifts totaling 36 hours per week. The ICU occasionally admits stable pediatric patients, but unstable pediatric cases are transferred to higher levels of care.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (day or night), totaling 36 hours per week, with a start date of 08/31/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), pediatric nursing experience, and at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in adult ICU settings, ability to float to other departments if needed.
