Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a high-volume healthcare facility. This role involves providing acute patient care across all age groups in a Level 2 trauma setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing a variety of patient conditions, collaborating with emergency medical teams, and adhering to department protocols to ensure quality care.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Various shifts including 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; valid license to submit; minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience; ability to start on 09/14/2026; end date 12/14/2026.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level 2 trauma setting; proficiency with EPIC charting system.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must pass a pass/fail exam during orientation with a score of 90% or higher. Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas. Candidates must have a valid drivers license for radius verification. The required department handles all ages with common diagnoses, including trauma cases. Self-scheduling is permitted but shifts are not guaranteed until final scheduling. Every third weekend is required, with rotations including Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. RTO requests are limited to 7 days or less at contract start; additional RTO will not be approved. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
