Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Greeley, CO. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department. The position emphasizes providing high-quality, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns, ensuring safety, compassion, and compliance with organizational and professional standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience in labor and delivery nursing, with a minimum of 1 year in an acute care setting within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification related to labor and delivery are preferred. Additional education or experience in maternal-newborn care is advantageous.
- Additional Information: Provides direct patient care in labor and delivery, conducts assessments, formulates and implements care plans, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. Documents care accurately and timely, participates in unit leadership activities, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives. The role may include supervising licensed and non-licensed staff and working in accordance with all regulatory and organizational policies.
