Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Anderson, Indiana. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to medically complex patients requiring telemetry, frequent monitoring, and specialized interventions. This role involves performing comprehensive assessments, managing high-acuity patients, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or similar degree, valid state licensure, and 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting or relevant clinical background.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and use of specialized medical devices; certifications such as BLS, ACLS; familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will provide direct patient care for patients requiring telemetry, neurological, cardiovascular, and respiratory monitoring, including administration of medications and management of infusion devices. Responsibilities include performing assessments, interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing invasive devices, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The role emphasizes adherence to infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and documentation accuracy.
