Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Step Down Units is sought for a facility located in Milwaukee, WI. This position involves working on a unit with the greatest need for a candidate with acute care experience in Progressive Care Units (PCU) or Medical-Surgical Telemetry. The role requires flexibility to float onsite within the skill set or to sites within 40 miles, depending on staffing needs.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 0 years of experience, RN licensure, applicable certifications including RN Step Down (Progressive Care Unit) specialty exam and skills, EPIC experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The traveler will be placed on a unit based on the greatest need, whether PCU or Med/Surg/Telemetry, aligned with their skills and certifications. Prior acute care experience in a similar setting is preferred, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
