Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in an advanced maternal care facility. The role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-volume delivery environment with a focus on perinatal patient management and support for high-risk pregnancies. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to an academic teaching environment as well as large private OB practices, performing over 500 deliveries per month.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas, BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics, Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing, minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery / Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
• Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service, S.T.A.B.L.E (Serum, Toxin, and Burn Evaluation and Life-saving Equipment) Program certification, Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Additional Information: The unit comprises 26 labor, delivery, and recovery suites, including low intervention rooms, 6 cesarean section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 16 monitored ante-partum rooms. The facility provides high-risk obstetric care with 24-hour in-house OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage, supported by a Perinatal Transport Program. The environment includes both academic teaching and private OB practice settings.
