Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position is located in an academic and private obstetric care setting. The role involves providing high-quality perinatal nursing care in a Level IV maternal designation facility with a high-volume delivery service, performing over 500+ deliveries per month. Candidates will support a fast-paced environment that ensures optimal outcomes for maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
  • Registered Nurse license in Texas
  • Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
  • Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery service
  • S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Additional Information:
  • The role involves working in a large hospital with 26 LDR suites, including low intervention rooms, 6 C-section suites, 14 Triage rooms, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 16 monitored Ante-partum rooms.
  • The facility serves as an academic teaching hospital with significant private OB practice involvement.
  • Responsibilities include participating in a high-risk, fast-paced delivery environment with continuous in-house coverage including OB, anesthesia, and NICU teams, as well as contributing to the Perinatal Transport Program.
