Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in the specified location. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a Level IV Maternal Designation facility, supporting a high volume of deliveries and an academic teaching environment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-risk delivery service with comprehensive obstetric and neonatal coverage.
Job Details
- Certifications and Qualifications: BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. A Texas nursing license and Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics are mandatory. Advanced Life Support (AHA or ARC) certification is also required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service. Preferred candidates will have 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience.
- Education: Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; Bachelors Degree in Nursing and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification are preferred.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Support high-risk obstetric and neonatal patients, utilize electronic fetal monitoring, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a large academic and private practice setting.
- Additional Qualifications: STABLE Program certification is preferred, along with comprehensive clinical knowledge of high-volume delivery services.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit updated resumes, valid licenses, and professional references for consideration.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
