Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves providing acute care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Med-Surg Telemetry setting, with flexibility based on the unit's current needs. The role requires skill in managing patients within a Step Down environment, utilizing EPIC electronic health records, and floating within the onsite facility or to sites within 40 miles as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN license, 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Med-Surg, or Telemetry Acute Care environments; RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills completed; current Epic electronic health record experience; able to float onsite within skill set or to facilities within 40 miles.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hospital setting with acute care patients.
- Additional Information: The traveler will be placed on a unit with the greatest need based on their skills, whether it is a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit. Candidates with travel experience are preferred.
