Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician Seattle, WA. This position involves working in a healthcare environment specializing in sterile processing and equipment sterilization. The role requires adherence to hospital protocols and standards, with a focus on maintaining high-quality sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency.
Job Details
- Shift: 8 hours per day, Days
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Certifications Required: CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management)
- Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in a healthcare setting, including skills in biological indicators, chemical indicators, cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), equipment documentation, high-level disinfection (HLD), immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), sterilization wrapping procedures, use of washers/sterilizers, sterilization testing/monitoring, sterile processing microsystem (SPM), proper wrapping materials, and sets/trays assembly.
- Location: Seattle, WA, within a 50-mile radius of the facility. Local candidates currently residing within this radius are not eligible to apply.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). All scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during application. A minimum of one year of healthcare experience is preferred.
- References: Two references covering at least one year within the past three years are required prior to start.
