Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician position available in Seattle, Washington. This role involves ensuring proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments and equipment within an acute hospital environment. The technician will perform cleaning, sterilization, and assembly of sterile instruments to support clinical operations effectively.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certification from CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management). Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting. Valid compact State license must be in hand at submission. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this role.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with biological indicators, chemical indicators, sterilization equipment such as washers/sterilizers, and familiarity with sterile processing in an acute hospital setting.
• Additional Information: Candidates may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in contract termination. A response to the following must be included with submission: "Have you ever worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem? If yes, please include location and dates worked."
• Certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM.
• Other Requirements: Candidates are expected to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day). All modules must be completed pre-start and during orientation, and time spent on modules is factored into work hours.
