Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves providing urgent care in a high-volume emergency department setting. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional to deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to established protocols and standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Two years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience in a larger ED department or critical care setting, previous travel experience, proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system, active nursing license verified through Nursys, valid drivers license or state ID, and professional references.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working within a hospital environment similar in size or scope, experience working with diverse patient populations, and certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Additional Information: The assignment duration is 8 weeks with a schedule of every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH). Block scheduling is not available. Staff may need to float onsite within their skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
