Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in Winchester, Virginia. This position involves providing exceptional perioperative care in a busy surgical services unit, supporting a variety of surgical specialties. The role requires coordination with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: 2+ years of operating room experience, current VA State License or Compact license, ACLS and BLS certifications, and experience with Epic electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications: Specialty experience with robots, general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, vascular, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, and thoracic procedures is preferred.
Float: None.
Additional Information: This position entails participating in on-call rotations that may include weekends and requires 68 calls per month. The unit comprises a 495-bed facility, and candidate dress code adherence is mandatory, with blue scrubs as standard.
