Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies and neonatal care. The position offers flexible shift options and supports professional development within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

Certificatons: AWHONN Advanced*, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) in hand at time of submission
Education Requirements: Valid Kansas or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission; valid Allied license required if applying for allied position
Location Requirements: No specific geographic restriction beyond 50-mile local radius; locals not accepted
Years of Experience: 2 years preferred but minimum experience requirement is 0 years
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Responsibilities: Care of laboring patients including high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and others; assistance with C-sections, external cephalic versions, and fetal monitoring; support for postpartum and neonatal care; use of specialized equipment and procedures such as external fetal monitoring, intrauterine pressure catheter placement, and wound assessment
Submission Requirements: Candidates must have in-hand certifications and licenses at submission, and meet the specified schedule.
