Job Summary:
This medical surgical with telemetry nursing position is located in a healthcare facility within Maryland. The role involves providing patient care for adult and geriatric populations with a variety of diagnoses, including complex admissions, in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. The position requires adaptability to float across various units and a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 07:30 to 19:30, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications. Prior experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units, with knowledge of managing arterial lines, cardiac telemetry, and ventilated patients. Familiarity with electronic charting systems such as Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, 2+ years of healthcare experience, and community hospital or LTAC experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between emergency department borders, medical-surgical, telemetry, and intensive care units within scope.
• Additional Information: The assignment involves caring for patients with diverse diagnoses, including trauma, cerebrovascular accidents, and post-surgical recovery. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment requiring quick assessment and intervention.
