Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position is available at a healthcare organization in Palmer, MA. The role involves providing patient care on a unit with 46 beds, including both acute and intermediate care patients. The RN will work day shifts and may be asked to float as needed to manage Med/Surg patients in the Emergency Department or Surge Unit. The position starts on 08/31/2026 and ends on 11/29/2026, requiring 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, 1-2 years of nursing experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units, and certification in relevant specialty areas.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with telemetry nursing, strong patient management skills.
• Float: No float rotation required.
• Additional Information: The unit has 40 acute and 6 intermediate care beds, with patient ratios of 5-6 patients during the day shift and 6-7 at night. The facility has dedicated admission/discharge nurses, patient ambulatory services, respiratory therapists, and security personnel available 24/7. No IV team or RRT team is on-site.
