Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a facility located in the specified area. This role involves providing direct clinical care to assigned patients within the labor and delivery unit, ensuring high-quality and safe nursing practices. The nurse will oversee staff, support the facility's chief nursing officer, and contribute to operational excellence in patient care.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and 0 years of experience is acceptable
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery nursing, Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) are a plus
- Additional Information: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility's chief nursing officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. The placement duration ranges from 8 to 12 weeks. The start date is 08/31/2026, and the assignment ends on 10/26/2026.
