Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor nurse in Corpus Christi, TX. This inpatient rehabilitation unit provides comprehensive care for patients requiring specialized recovery services. The role involves supporting patient transfers, administering medications, and performing routine procedures in a collaborative team environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, zero years of experience required, location is Corpus Christi, TX
• Preferred Qualifications: Rehabilitation experience, proficiency with electronic medical records, experience with rehab scoring documentation
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: This position involves working on a 15-bed medical-surgical rehabilitation unit with a team of 18 staff members. Patients are usually managed with transfer equipment, vital sign machines, EKGs, bladder scanners, and other standard hospital equipment. The nurse will participate in bedside reports, hourly rounding, and ensure bed alarm activation, especially on weekends and holidays. Shift start date is 09/07/2026, ending on 12/07/2026.
