Job Summary:

Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Wytheville, Virginia. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care across diverse patient populations in a 100-bed facility recognized for its quality standards. The position offers a schedule of days shifts with a weekly guaranteed minimum of 36 hours, starting on 08/17/2026 and ending on 11/16/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Wytheville, Virginia
• Facility Details: 100-bed hospital with Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval, serving a primary service area of approximately 36,000 individuals. The hospital employs over 350 full-time personnel and over 80 physicians.
• Unit Information: Emergency Room with 14 beds and patient ratios of approximately 1:4-5, staffed with Baxter pumps and Spacelabs cardiac monitors. Uses MedHost electronic health record system.
• Schedule: Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; ER experience preferred; Must have MedHost experience; experience in trauma is preferred; must have at least 1 year of experience; valid licensure as an RN; suitable for candidates located 60 miles or greater from the facility.
• Additional Notes: Must be flexible; dress code is solid scrub colors; no unacceptable attire listed. Position created to replace contractor personnel.
