Job Summary:
Lactation and Delivery Nurse (Labor and Delivery Department) in Elko, Nevada. This role involves providing care to mothers and newborns within a Level 1 Labor & Delivery and Postpartum unit. The position emphasizes maternal and neonatal care, including obstetric procedures, fetal monitoring, postpartum care, and neonatal management, supporting a busy womens services unit with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.

Job Details:

Location: Elko, Nevada
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 09/14/2026
End Date: 11/07/2026
Required Qualifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS certifications; Associates or bachelors degree in nursing; minimum of 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, or neonatal care; experience with cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, high-risk obstetric care, and neonatal procedures; must be greater than 60 miles from the facility to be considered travel.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with nonstress testing, management of pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, hemorrhages, neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, and procedures related to labor and neonatal care.
Additional Information: Facility is an LDRP unit with 15 beds (6 L&D, 9 Postpartum), neonatal nursery, and postpartum couplet care. Equipment includes Omnicell medication dispenser, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and GE fetal heart rate monitors.
