Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse Outpatient Procedural Area Location unspecified. This travel registered nurse position involves cardiovascular preparation and recovery in an outpatient procedural setting. The role entails supporting catheterization and electrophysiology laboratory procedures, including patient admissions, IV initiation, post-procedure recovery, and monitoring access sites. The position requires proficiency in assessing groin and wrist access sites, with a focus on patient safety and post-procedure care, and offers 12-hour day shifts from Monday through Friday.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), valid nursing license, experience with post-cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, familiarity with groin and wrist access sites, and at least 1 year of recent relevant nursing experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient cardiovascular recovery, ability to handle moderate sedation recovery, excellent assessment skills
  • Additional Information: The role involves conducting patient histories, starting IVs, monitoring post-procedure recovery, and managing access sites. Nursing professionals should be comfortable handling post-cath and electrophysiology lab access sites, including bleeding assessment and management.
