Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist position in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves supporting a dynamic and fast-paced IR department, primarily working night shifts. The position requires a professional capable of performing advanced imaging procedures, assisting with patient care, and maintaining clinical standards within the department.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified radiologic technologist with experience in Interventional Radiology or related areas, including familiarity with IR procedures, patient care, and imaging equipment. No minimum years of experience are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with post-cardiac procedural care, advanced patient monitoring, and the ability to interpret EKGs and telemetry strips.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with imaging equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Hill Rom beds, and telemetry monitors. Staff will perform procedures including IV insertions, NGT placement, and maintenance of temporary pacemakers. Candidate must hold ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. The unit emphasizes patient experience, teamwork, and adherence to department policies.
