Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse in a 1000+ bed hospital setting, located in an adult patient care environment. The position involves working 12-hour day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a schedule requiring a minimum of 36 hours per week. The role demands circulating experience in a Level I trauma hospital, with the ability to float between ORs when necessary. The assignment is for 26 weeks, starting from 09/28/2026, with scheduled orientation on 09/14 and 09/28. The position requires prior travel experience and a minimum of 2 years of OR experience. The candidate must hold a valid license and certification at the time of submission. This role involves working during holidays with limited time off, including the possibility of late stays and occasional floating between locations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of Operating Room experience, prior travel experience, circulating experience in a Level I trauma hospital, certifications as applicable, and ability to work the specified schedule.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult patient populations, familiarity with diverse surgical case types including neuro, trauma, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant, robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, hepatic-biliary, and ability to float between ORs.
• Additional Information: Orientation scheduled for 09/14 and 09/28. The assignment requires working during multiple holidays with limited time off. Travelers are expected to accommodate late stays as needed, with a typical maximum of one hour beyond scheduled hours. No excessive time off can be approved during this period. The position involves working in a facility with a high-acuity adult patient population, with no pediatric cases included.
