Job Summary
Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) position is located on a Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, focusing on post-operative orthopedic patients. The position starts on 09/14/2026 and ends on 12/14/2026, with a schedule of days, working 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours weekly.
Job Details
- Schedule: Shift starts at 0645, with 12-hour shifts, and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), 0+ years of experience, located within the required area.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience or knowledge in Med/Surg, orthopedics, post-operative care; familiarity with fast-paced surgical units.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires strong time management skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Dress code is navy scrubs, without long, gel, wrapped, dipped, or fake nails. The unit handles surgery patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1, and the shift begins at 0645. Clinical competencies include patient care, post-op monitoring, and teamwork in a dynamic environment.
