Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing opportunity located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing recovery services for in-patient and out-patient procedures, supporting patients post-surgery with a focus on monitoring, assessment, and stabilization. The position requires a commitment to patient care excellence within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/07/2026 and ending on 12/07/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications. At least 0 years of experience in post-anesthesia or PACU nursing, with familiarity in inpatient, outpatient, and trauma settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting systems such as Epic and previous work in community hospital, LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care), trauma Level I or II, and travel experience are preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in patient assessment, airway management, ventilated patient care, pain management, using PCA pumps, monitoring neurovascular status, and managing post-surgical protocols.
• Additional Information: Support involves working with multidisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, and physical therapy services. Emphasis on patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to recovery and discharge protocols.
