Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in the pediatric emergency department. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in a Level II Trauma Center setting. The RN will deliver comprehensive, compassionate patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing clinical expertise and teamwork to ensure optimal patient outcomes during nights shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week from 09/21/2026 to 12/19/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: NV Registered Nurse (RN) license prior to start; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); two years of experience in a Pediatric Emergency Room; excellent documentation skills; ability to provide compassionate patient/family care and pediatric resuscitation; comfortable with care of critically ill children.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to meet department needs up to the candidates level of competency.
  • Additional Information: This role involves providing optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across diverse patient populations, including adolescents and geriatrics. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, respond to emergency needs, and maintain high standards of clinical practice in a fast-paced trauma center environment.
