Job Summary:
The Nurse Educator position is based in a healthcare setting within a remote or rural location. This role involves developing and implementing clinical education programs, overseeing trauma registrar activities, and providing ongoing training to nursing staff. The position requires managing educational activities that support regulatory compliance and professional development for healthcare providers.

Job Details:

• Location: Not specified (must meet travel eligibility requirements)
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state; ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications; three years of professional clinical instructor experience; five years of professional nursing experience with at least two years as a staff RN in a specialty such as Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, Obstetrics, or Operating Room; two years of supervisory experience; knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices, and procedures; specialized knowledge in adult and geriatric patient care and hospital policies; experience with trauma program and registrar processes, and Alaska State Trauma Program standards; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to develop and evaluate educational programs for adult learners; physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC instructor certification; prior emergency trauma or remote rural experience; experience with hospital and consortium policies related to trauma and clinical education.
• Additional Information: The employee will develop, implement, and evaluate educational activities, oversee trauma registry and program designation efforts, collaborate with health care teams, and support trauma education initiatives. The role includes supervisory responsibilities, participation in committee meetings, and maintaining necessary certifications and licensure.
