Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse position in the clinical setting. This role involves providing intraoperative patient care, preparing the operating room for surgical procedures, and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed. The position requires active collaboration with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes during 12-hour day shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must live 50 miles away, 2 years of acute care operating room experience, graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN highly desired, current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state/district, PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Additional Information: The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures. Duties include department admissions to the operative suite, adhering to standards and aseptic techniques, consulting and coordinating with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serving as a communication liaison to patients, families, and the surgical team. Preparing the operating room, assembling and inspecting equipment and supplies, and ensuring functionality and availability of supplies and implants.
