Description

Job Summary:
Infection Control Nurse Location. This role involves participation under the guidance of the Epidemiology Manager in developing, educating, and maintaining Infection Prevention and Hospital Epidemiology programs. The position focuses on surveillance using epidemiological principles, infection prevention, control, and quality improvement to ensure high-quality, cost-effective healthcare and prevention of healthcare-associated infections.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: No specific experience requirements; the role requires strong knowledge of infection control practices, relevant certifications or educational background in healthcare, and the ability to work under guidance from the Epidemiology Manager
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in infection prevention and control, knowledge of epidemiological principles, prior participation in hospital infection control programs
  • Additional Information: Participates in surveillance activities, assists in implementing infection prevention strategies, and supports the development of hospital epidemiology initiatives.
